Thrilling Comics was one of the longest runs the publisher had. It ran for eighty issues. The issues themselves featured many different kinds of comic stories like the standard superhero story as well as westerns, detective, stories, comedies, comic strips, short stories and many more. Featured Stars Doc Strange was the featured star in issues 1-19, 25-30-36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52-57, 59 American Crusader was the featured star in issues 20-24 Commando Cubs alternated with Doc Strange in 37, 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 51 Princess Pantha featured in these issues and this was the major turn from Superhero stories from this point on 58, 60-71 Buck Ranger took over for the remainder of the series 72-80 Collected Editions The Golden Age Doc Strange: Volume 1 (DS stories from #1-15) The Complete Phantom Detective . Lost Heroes of Standard Comics: Volume 1 (stories from #1-17)
