This Policy explains what data Moviefy (moviefy.mewayz.com, operated by Mewayz) collects, how we use it, and your rights. By using Moviefy you agree to this Policy.

What we collect

Account info: username, email, password hash.
Tracking data: items you add to lists, ratings, reviews, watch progress, profiles, follows.
Usage data: pages viewed, IP-derived country (for regional pricing), user-agent, language preference.
Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store the Stripe customer ID and subscription ID only.
Cookies: session cookie (required), CSRF, preference flags. No third-party advertising cookies.

Why we collect it

To operate the Service, render the tracker, process payments, send transactional emails (receipts, subscription notices, password resets), and improve the product.

Who we share with

Stripe — payment processing.
TMDB & OMDB — we send title queries; they don’t see your account.
Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection.
Our email provider (Mailcow) — transactional and marketing email delivery.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), you have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete your account, opt out of marketing emails. Email [email protected] or use the in-app account settings.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Deleted accounts have all personal data purged within 30 days, except where law requires us to retain billing records (typically 7 years).

Children

Moviefy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

We’ll post any update here with a new date. Material changes will also be emailed to active users.
