Arnold Book Company's Space Comics starred Captain Valiant, Ace of the Interplanetary Police Patrol. Mick Anglo and Denis Gifford were among the creators who worked on the series. It began with issue 50, presumably having had another title for the first 49 issues, and initially was published monthly, before later switching to a fortnightly schedule. The title was cancelled with issue 81.
