Karina Cáceres

Karina Cáceres is a film director, having graduated from the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in Cuba, and holds a degree in Advertising and Multimedia from the Catholic University of Santa María. She also holds a Master's degree in Audiovisual Screenwriting from the University of La Rioja. Her notable films include: Cable a Tierra (2013), which won the APRECI award for Best Peruvian Film at the 3rd Lima International Independent Film Festival (2013) and Best Film in the national competition at the Ibero-American Digital Film Festival (FIACID) (2014); and Bajo la Influencia (2016), which received an award from the Ministry of Culture. She is a project advisor at EICTV - Cuba, a cultural manager, and a professor at the Professional School of Advertising and Multimedia at UCSM. In 2018, she founded KONSTELACION – AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION COMPANY, where she develops film projects and promotes audiovisual production, filmmaking, and distribution in Arequipa.
