Beatriz de Almeida

Beatriz is a filmmaker, artist and researcher from Porto, Portugal. At 19, she moved away to study Film and TV at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. The River Woman is her directorial debut and it was initially developed in 2021 as her graduation project. In the summer of 2023, Beatriz graduated from the University of Oxford with an MSc in Visual, Material and Museum Anthropology.
