La storia si incentra su uno scalmanato trio di ragazzine undicenni: le vivaci sorelle Marui. Tra le tre sorelle, Hitoha è la più responsabile, calma, forse un po troppo introversa mentre Futaba è una ragazza attiva, sempre allegra, amante dello sport, anche se un po' tonta e superficiale invece a Mitsuba piace circondarsi di cose graziose, vestire alla moda e atteggiarsi con fare da vera regina. Il trio prenderà di mira per i loro scherzi un povero ragazzo, un compagno di classe che grazie a loro ne vedrà di tutti i colori.
