Goofy en zijn zoon Max zijn terug verhuisd naar Goofy's oude thuisstad Spoonerville. Toevallig komen ze naast Goofy's oude vriend Boris Boef te wonen, die een eigen bedrijf genaamd Boris' Barrels heeft waar hij tweedehands auto's verkoopt. De familie van Boris bestaat verder uit zijn vrouw Bea, een makelaar, en hun twee kinderen, zoon Borrie en dochter Bommie. Max en Boris' zoon Borrie worden meteen beste vrienden en doen praktisch alles samen.
