《猫》是东京电视台推出的短剧，小西樱子主演。金子峰子（小西樱子 饰）得了脑瘤，她决定要摆脱束缚享受生活。峰子在一次偶遇中因为一只猫遇见了天音光司（前田旺志郎 饰）。光司因为没和父母商量就退学，被父母赶了出来。峰子邀请光司一起住，并提了一些条件：每天上班前送她去车站，一起吃晚饭，然后一起回家，如果有一天发现她死了，光司要联系峰子的亲属。就这样，两人开始了同居生活，渐渐地光司喜欢上了峰子。光司向峰子表白，两个人知道最后不得不面临分离，但还是选择在一起。
